Hello, I’m Christel!

I’m a Digital Creative specialising in TV and entertainment.

I have ten years of experience working in various digital marketing roles and have delivered impactful social content and campaigns for a range of clients including BBC Studios, Netflix, Sky, Google, King Games and Channel 4 as well as several BBC brands; Doctor Who, Gentleman Jack, Sherlock, Cbeebies and Top Gear. I’m currently a Content Director at creative agency Jellyfish.

Outside of my day job in social media, I'm a #geektok content creator with 38k followers across TikTok, Instagram, X and YouTube. My content spans comedy sketches, arts and crafts tutorials, cosplay, event coverage and unboxing the latest merchandise. In 2015, I had the incredible opportunity to host Doctor Who: The Fan Show on YouTube, presenting over 100 pieces of content for BBC Studios over 3 years. Prior to this, I was a member of the online comedy troupe FiveWhoFans. I recently began hosting the Official Doctor Who Podcast on BBC Sounds. I have also co-authored two Doctor Who books for BBC Books and have written several features for Doctor Who Magazine.

I grew up in foster care and in 2020 created From Care to Where?, a podcast celebrating a selection of incredible care experienced people. I have also facilitated social media workshops for care leavers through the charity Become and had the honour of serving twice on the judging panel for #Voices, a creative writing competition for children in care and care leavers.
