As an author, I contributed cosplay tips to Doctor Who: Paper Dolls for BBC Books and in 2018, Doctor Who: The Women Who Lived, Amazing Tales for Future Time Lords, which I co-authored with Simon Guerrier, was published by BBC Books.
In 2017, I worked with Simon Guerrier on Doctor Who: Paper Dolls for BBC Books, providing a few pages of cosplay tips. Later that year, I teamed up with Simon again and successfully pitched Doctor Who: The Women Who Lived, Amazing Tales for Future Time Lords to BBC Books (a history of Doctor Who through the lives of the many remarkable women in the series, from the first episode in 1963 through to the new Doctor and her friend Yasmin, beautifully illustrated by a team of female artists) - an idea I had after Jodie Whittaker was announced as the first female actor to play the Doctor. The book was published by BBC Books in September. I also write regular cosplay features for Doctor Who Magazine and am a regular contributor on their ‘Time Team’ panel.
