— Lee Bacon, Senior Digital Producer at BBC Studios

As a digital content creator, I've researched, developed, written, produced and edited a wealth of ad-hoc and series short form video and social assets to support global BBC brands, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Hey Duggee and Top Gear.

My background is in television production. After graduating from a Film & Television Production degree in 2013, I worked as a runner at various production companies before going on to work as Social Media Editor and Post Production for a year on Channel 4’s independently ran YouTube channel, #MASHED where I created a Doctor Who Dating Simulator. I also worked as technical staff at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

2015, I became the Researcher for Doctor Who: The Fan Show, a weekly production from BBC Studios, celebrating the creativity of fans around the globe and in 2017, I became the show’s Assistant Producer.

A key project in this role was Doctor Who: The Aftershow, created to to drive conversation around Doctor Who on a weekly basis, make casual fans feel more involved in the show, and drive pride and advocacy in more hardcore fans:

Christel is hard working, diligent, thoughtful and brings lots of creativity and great design skills to the job.
